The Path to Jobs

When it comes to job creation, the policy path couldn't be much clearer. New analysis by research and consulting firm Wood Mackenzie provides a sharp contrast between status quo energy policies and a robust, pro-development strategy - the latter producing 1 million additional jobs by 2018 and 1.4 million by 2030. The study and a wide discussion of related topics were featured at Wednesday's energy jobs summit, co-hosted by The Hill and API. Check out this video for highlights:

Mark Green joined API after a career in newspaper journalism, including 16 years as national editorial writer for The Oklahoman in the paper’s Washington bureau. Previously, Mark was a reporter, copy editor and sports editor at an assortment of newspapers. He earned his journalism degree from the University of Oklahoma and master’s in journalism and public affairs from American University. He and his wife Pamela have two grown children and six grandchildren.
