Video: Commitment to Excellence in Water Management

In the video below, Devon Energy's Brian Woodard talks at API's recent hydraulic fracturing workshop about guidelines for water management during the production of natural gas from shale. The HF-2 guideline set is one of a number of industry-developed standards designed to make hydraulic fracturing as safe and efficient as possible.

In this video, Woodard discusses ways to minimize environmental impact during the acquisition of water for drilling, water use during fracking operations and treatment and disposal of water and other fluids recovered after the well is completed.
