Additionally, he offers policy recommendations on how the United States can meet its energy goals.

Resources at Work: An Energy Jobs Summit

September 7, 2011– API is sponsoring a half-day summit, hosted in partnership with The Hill. “Resources at Work: An Energy Jobs Summit” will bring together members of Congress and energy and economics experts for an on-the-record discussion about policy solutions to our nation’s current jobs deficit. It will feature remarks from API CEO Jack Gerard and members of Congress, as well as a panel discussion on the energy industry’s role in job creation.

State of American Energy 2011

January 4, 2011– API President and CEO Jack Gerard delivered a report on the “State of American Energy” to guests of honor, media and bloggers during a luncheon at the Newseum. Timed with the swearing in of the 112th Congress,  Mr. Gerard discussed the role the oil and natural gas industry plays in economic growth, job creation and energy security. He also offered policy recommendations for how the United States could meet its energy goals in the coming year.
